At Coffee @ The Hub, we believe that coffee shops should be more than just places to grab a drink – they should be places where people feel safe, welcome, and connected. That’s why we’re proud to be working in partnership with The Space Somerset to support young people in our local community.

What is The Space Somerset?

The Space is a youth charity based in South Somerset, offering a wide range of services to young people – from drop-in sessions and one-to-one support, to group activities and workshops. Their mission is to create a safe, inclusive environment where young people can thrive, access support, and feel heard.

How We’re Working Together

Coffee @ The Hub provides a shared space where young people can meet, relax, and participate in sessions led by The Space team. Whether it’s a casual drop-in, a wellbeing session, or a chance to talk to youth workers over a hot chocolate, The Hub is here to help young people feel part of something positive.

We’ve created a welcoming, friendly environment that’s open to all – and by working with The Space, we’re able to offer something that goes beyond coffee: community.

Why It Matters

In a time where many young people face isolation, anxiety, or uncertainty, having a safe place to go can make all the difference. Together, we’re helping to build confidence, reduce loneliness, and encourage open conversation – all within a space that feels calm, trusted, and supportive.
